When did you decide to become a photographer?

The first photo I took was as a hobby in 2007 and then photography became my part-time job when I was a student in Germany in 2009. The tourist information organization bought several of my photos, since then I’m called a ‘photographer’.

What was your photography education?

I’m self-taught photographer since 2007. I have never been in photography class and the subject I graduated in was actually not about photography at all. I just love it and want do it.

Did you come up thru the ranks doing lots of assisting or just start out on your own?

I started out on my own.

What is it you are passionate about shooting?

I can’t control myself if I see beautiful light and shadow in front of me. I just think , I want to shoot right now. Even there is no one there (model) , I am always ready to do a self-portrait. I will do everything to capture the moment. It sounds like crazy, but I’m not like the others anyway.

Why humans and nudes?

I love human skin and I think “Nude” is the answer. I can shoot anything but to shoot nude makes me the happiest and feel good.

Do you feel like you have a particular style and if so what is it?

I think yes, but I don’t know how to explain. It maybe because I always have concept in my head before I shoot. Light and shadow is very important to me. I won’t press the shutter if the image behind the viewfinder is not ok for me. I’m so serious about trying to capture it at the right moment. I try to show all of my opinions through my work, I think that’s why my work is different because I think about ‘nudity’ the whole time. My work is not only about beauty or not beautiful any more. You have to find out your own meaning, look for what exactly my work tells you.

Do you remember your first few shoots and the fear, nerves, and trepidation of working with models? How was that ? and what did you do to get past it?

My first model was myself. I was worried how the result would come out way more than being nervous about ‘hey, I’m naked’. When I work with real models, I worry if they will like my work but I’m lucky that everyone loves my work.

When your shooting do you like working with a team and everyone collaborating or are you clearly the captain and its your look, idea etc?

I’m ok to work as team but I have to be the captain or I can work alone because I grew up with that.

What do you consider your greatest strength in photography?

To captured the moment.

Do you create any other art?

If dance is the one of art. I like dancing. I used to do Thai classical dancing from grade 1 till when I was in university.

What is your creative process? how does an idea grow and mature into your final image?

I don’t know. It’s like a flash-light in my head. I only need to catch it.

Are you an “in camera person” or a “post production person” ? how much time in post do you spend on any particular image?

I don’t take much time to post-processing because my motto is ‘Being nude is a natural’. It would be funny if I did much post processing. It would be fake. I process some because a clearly skin is very important for nude photography and sometimes I change a color to fulfill what I imagined.

Wine, beer, spirits or other?

I love alcohol because I’m kinda a party animal. But I try to stop to drink alcohol this year. Trying to be healthy!

Generally do you create for you? for a client? for a commercial purpose?

Mainly for myself, but if someone likes my work. They can contact me anytime.

How do you feel when a client chooses an image or images and loves them wants to show them off worldwide?

Of course, I’m excited. I love to shoot nude, I already happy while I’m taking shot. Well, the other thing will be my profit, that makes me happy too.

What was your single worst mistake you have made in your photographer journey?

I forgot to asked the model to sign model release for me. They allowed me to go public and then they quashed it.
